MyCorporation’s Expertise Streamlines
Incorporation for MyHomedia When Dallas/Fort Worth based
home theatre designer MyHomedia came to their CPA with three
different holding companies to incorporate, he directed them to
MyCorporation. “It seemed pretty straight-forward to us until
we got into the project and realized we didn’t have the resources or

“We were incorporating three companies simultaneously, and we needed

Did You
Know? Figuring out which entity suits a business is key
to filing the proper forms. Corporations, LLCs, and other
entities registered at the state level have their legal names on the
articles they file. For other business entities, like sole
proprietors, doing business under names other than their personal
name may require a DBA filing (in most states). LLCs and
corporations operating under a name other than their corporate name
filed with the state, may also need to file a DBA. For
example, if your name is Jessica Miller, you can operate a sole
proprietorship as Jessica Miller without filing a DBA, but doing
business as Skyway Communications requires a DBA filing.
Jessica Miller can now open a business bank account for Skyway
Communications and could build customer confidence and credibility
with a professional business name.
MyCorporation makes the DBA filing
process quick, simple, and affordable, all vital benefits for new
small businesses. Complete the DBA
application online and we will complete the rest of the
forms. You’ll receive the approval and publication certificate
(when applicable) for your records. Click
